How do I get a free flooring estimate?
Book online or call or text (337) 333-2453. John comes to your home, measures every room himself and sends a written quote. There is no cost and no obligation.
What is included in your written quote?
Everything the job needs, listed line by line. Labor and prep are on their own lines and the flooring is on its own line, along with removal, trim and furniture moving if the job includes them. What is on the quote is what happens on install day.
Can I get a price without a home visit?
You can get a ballpark. Text a photo of the room and its rough size to (337) 333-2453 and John will give you a range. The real number comes after he measures and checks the floor.
How long does flooring installation take?
Most flooring jobs take one to three days once the material is in. Bigger tile projects and whole-house jobs take longer, and John gives you the schedule in writing before work starts.
Can you finish the floors before we move in after closing?
Often, yes. An empty house is the fastest kind of job, and we have met tight timelines for homeowners who just closed. Call as soon as you have a closing date so John can measure and order material early.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No, we can move the furniture for you. Let John know about heavy or special pieces at the estimate so the plan and the quote account for them.
Can we stay in the house during the installation?
Yes. On larger jobs John can phase the house, doing about half at a time, so your family keeps a working kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms while the rest is finished.
Do you remove the old floor and haul it away?
Yes. We remove old tile, carpet, vinyl or wood, haul away the debris and prep the slab underneath before the new floor goes in.
Will you replace my baseboards?
Only if they need it. Baseboards in good shape can be reused, which saves money. We can also add quarter round or install new baseboards, and each option is priced on the quote.
Why do vinyl plank floors lift or buckle in Florida homes?
Usually because of moisture from the concrete slab combined with our humidity, which can show up as lifting edges or separating joints within a few years. We test the slab for moisture after demo and include a vapor barrier under every floating floor on concrete. If your slab needs more than that, you see the results and a written quote for the fix before any work.
What warranty comes with my new floor?
Two layers of coverage. The product carries the manufacturer's lifetime residential warranty when it offers one, and Red Eagle backs the installation with its own installation warranty.
Do you offer flooring financing?
Yes, for qualified homeowners through partners like Wisetack. You see the rate and terms at approval and decide from there, before anything is signed.
Do you have a flooring showroom?
Yes, a private showroom at 108 Flagship Dr in Lutz with hundreds of tile, luxury vinyl plank, laminate and engineered hardwood samples. It is open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, by appointment.
Can I buy my own flooring and have you install it?
Yes. You can supply your own flooring or buy it through our showroom with installation. If you supply it, the quote covers labor and prep, and John will tell you honestly if he sees a concern with the product.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, New Tampa, Odessa, Zephyrhills and Tampa, plus the rest of Pasco County and north Hillsborough County.
How does payment work?
A deposit secures your spot on the schedule, and the balance is due at completion. The amounts are spelled out on your written quote, so you know both numbers before you sign.
Who actually installs the floors?
The same long-time installers John has worked with for years, with tile, flooring and demolition specialists matched to each job. John is a CTEF Certified Tile Installer and measures every job himself.
